“It’s the Economy, Stupid.”

This frequent sticky note reminder placed in front of then-candidate Governor Bill Clinton helped him re-focus discussions and questions back onto the most important election topic: the economy. When we choose marketing strategies and initiatives we should consider placing sticky notes that remind us how important the “Relationship” we have with the client is.

By designing relationship-centric programs that support Retention, Client Growth and a Greater Percentage of each Doctor’s business, we can reduce the need for always having to find new accounts. It is less expensive, more effective and highly profitable to keep and help our current relationship and simply grow them than replace turnover. These highly engaged customers also become the raving fans that drive your net promoter scores and subsequent referrals.
